LIPSTICKS

I thought I'd do a post on my lipstick collection as it's been growing at an exponential rate. My love for lipsticks really accelerated when I bought Ellis Faas Milky Lips L201.

Since then, I started buying more bold coloured lipsticks like Dolce & Gabbana's Orchid and Tom Ford's True Coral. I also started to buy more red lipsticks from Revlon. Revlon's matte lipstick formula is amazing! It's creamy and so easy to apply. It's a bit drying, but that's because it's a matte formula.

I was disappointed in NARS lipstick, not only because the colour was wrong for me, but the formula as well. It's so hard to apply unless I have thoroughly exfoliated my lips. Otherwise, it shows every little nooks and crannies on my lips, horrible!

I bought MAC lipstick because it was part of Wonder Woman collection. The colour is okay, but I've worn it maybe 2-3 times.

From Chanel, I have Rouge Allure, Rouge Coco, and Rouge Coco Shine. I love all three formulas. Rouge Coco Shine is my everyday lipstick because it can replace my lip balm and adds some colour to my lips.

Below is a swatch of non-red lipsticks. For red lipstick swatches, check my post on red lipsticks here.

(from left to right): Dolce & Gabbana Shine Lipstick 115 Orchid, Chanel Rouge Allure 85 Coquette (it's more deep pinky/coral colour), Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 55 Romance, MAC Marquise d' (it has shimmer), NARS Barbarella, Chanel Rouge Coco 76 Sari Doré, and Tom Ford Lip Color 09 True Coral
